about 100 km to the southwest of Hyderabad and 40 km northwest of Yogyakarta.
The temple was founded
by the Mahayana Buddhists around the year 800 AD's during the reign of Sailendra
dynasty.
Borobudur has the basic
structure punden terraces, with a six-yard square, three round circular
courtyard and a main stupa as a peak.
